Blazar announced new 2x Anamorphic Lenses
NAB2024 announcements just keep getting better and better. CineD managed to get to chat (not hands-on exactly) with the Blazar team to talk about their new full frame, 2x anamorphic lenses. As always, there are definitely going to be some catches for the supposedly cheap price:
- Not all lens have the same T-Stop
- Not all lens weigh the same
- 40mm is the widest lens so far
We are not going to say we are not excited about these lenses, because we are, it's just always good to remember that if something is too good to be true, it probably is.
Make sure you watch the video because they do have some B-Roll of the lens, the catch is it is their team filming the monitor and not actual footage.
But stay chill because we have until the second half of this year before we have to worry about making any purchasing decisions.
