The fourth MCU Spider-Man film follows Tom Holland's Peter Parker four years after he erased himself from everyone's memories. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton with cinematographer Brett Pawlak (their frequent collaborator since Short Term 12), the production shot under the working title Blue Oasis across Glasgow — transforming its streets into New York City with NYPD cruisers, yellow taxis, and explosive stunt sequences — before moving to Pinewood Studios and locations across Italy and Morocco. Tom Holland performed his own stunts including work atop moving tanks, calling it his most creatively fulfilling Spider-Man filming experience.
